"Just below Tropical World are the beautiful Canal Gardens which again, despite being in the area many times exploring Roundhay Park I had never noticed before I ran past them during a lockdown run. I came back again a couple of weeks later with my new tripod (best purchase!!!) to photograph them. In Spring the rhododendrons are in full bloom in this peaceful place."

"Its New York-inspired interior and state of the art DJ booth (don’t worry, it’s not blasting out tunes at 3pm in the afternoon) draw cool crowds, but there’s no doubt it’s one of Leeds’ most child-friendly bars. A warm welcome is extended to all, although their collection of 80s board games go down especially well with younger visitors. They don’t have a kids’ menu, but everything is such great value that you won’t mind one bit."

"York Art Gallery boasts the largest collection of British Studio Ceramics in the country in its Centre of Ceramic Art (CoCA). The 19th century building (restored 2013-2015) contains works from the 14th century to the present day including altarpieces, drawings, paintings, prints and sculpture.
